Our culture
World leader in home exchanging, HomeExchange is an international platform born from the union between the American company HomeExchange and the French startup GuesttoGuest. The company revolutionized the home exchange concept by inventing GuestPoints—a point system that allows members to organize non-reciprocal exchanges.
From its early days with paper catalogs to today’s website and mobile application (available on both Android and iOS), the HomeExchange community now counts over 310,000 members across 155 countries, all united by the shared values of respect and hospitality.

Our vision
Based on the belief that going on vacation is essential to take a break from daily life, rest, and recharge, as well as to strengthen relationships and open oneself to the world, the HomeExchange team is committed to:
developing a way of traveling that is accessible to everyone, regardless of income, background, or physical ability
promoting a more inclusive and responsible style of travel, where everyone is mindful of their impact and respectful in their choices.
Our values
Together, we grow strong roots
At HomeExchange, we stick together. We share, we learn as one, we support each other… and we definitely share a good laugh along the way.
We test new ideas, we debate, we make mistakes sometimes, but we learn and improve every single time. Passion drives us forward, while reason keeps our feet on the ground.
Here, growth is part of our daily life. And we wouldn't have it any other way!
Commitments and CSR
At HomeExchange, everyone is convinced that a more responsible way of traveling is possible. The team firmly believes that travel should not come at the expense of local communities, and that its true purpose is to connect people while allowing them to escape their daily routines and recharge more often.
For over 30 years, they have been proud to promote slower, more mindful travel that fosters genuine human connections. The company earned its B Corp certification in 2022—a commitment and a compass that guides them toward making the most responsible decisions.
